Very famous and old in the name of Sadhu Island or sadh Belo. In Urdu it is called Sadhu Bella. It is establishment in 1823 by Baba Brakhandi Maharaja. It is located in Sukkur on Indus River. One can find the most refined dance and music images on the northern wall of eight Temple. There are eight marble panels on the northern wall, one of which depicts hell or narka.
We reached Dolphin viewpoint by the sunset time in Sukkur. Sadh Bela was located on an Island called Bukkur; we had to wait for our boat to carry us across the river. After some wait a boat arrived and took us to the island where Sadh Belo was located. The old building of Sadh Belo stood out, as the architecture of the building was a class in itself.
It had a very attractive architecture; the walls of the temple were decorated with marble carvings on which their gods’ sculptures were portrayed in a very beautiful manner. The temple had lawns as well, and many different symbolic things placed which were used by their gods, in accordance with their religion. The temple covered a huge are, with its structure being less modern but more attractive. There are different gods’ sculptures available there which allow the Hindus to perform different types of prayers on different occasions.
The excitement of discovering the beauty of the building was of such an extent, that it made us forget the sun as it set in the horizon glimmering over The Indus. Sunset in that location had its own aesthetics as the temple view during that particular time seemed rather elegant. The beauty of a bridge on The Indus enhanced its serenity value. While concluding the trip we took a boat-ride along the river and to reach our final destination. This further relished the culmination of the mesmerizing trip by the Indus River.
