The western side is the Diamir Face of Nanga Parbat eight-thousander.

(6) Pre-summit section of the Schell route ( Schell route), 1976 (the ascent was made from the Rupal side through the Mazeno pass).

In addition, several variants of the Schell route exist today, such as the 1981 passage by Ronald Naar; climbers Viki Groselj and Irena Mrak also passed their variants.
